Confederacy of Illusion

 Welcome to Confederacy of Illusion

President Abraham Lincoln consulted with clairvoyants.  A letter sent by an anonymous clairvoyant, on record at the Library of Congress, even predicted his assassination.

Confederacy of Illusion is the story of Gen. Robert E. Lee's clairvoyant.

In 1861, at the start of the Civil War, a humble New Orleans fisherman, street magician, and aspiring clairvoyant finds himself at the epicenter of strategic battle planning, with the future of the nation and his life, hanging in the balance.

Confederacy of Illusion is a cutting edge project which removes the boundaries normally associated with theatrical performances.  Not limited to the traditional stage, the audience becomes engaged in and even part of the storytelling.

Written by Stephen Veneruso and Rob Sevin, this live theater production of Confederacy of Illusion, Directed by Samantha Streamer-Veneruso, is the basis of a full-length feature film currently in development by Flaming Angel Films and Sevinth Sight Entertainment.
